I'm Anamaria, also known online as "gioviia". I'm a self taught illustrator and story teller.
I have been drawing for 7 years and I'm working as a freelance artist collaborating with authors.In the very beginning of my journey, I was very fascinated by the anime/manga world, but later on I moved on to incorporating semi-realism and realism as my focus.
I enjoy making portrait art and technical studies.
I'm a curious , precise and a determined person, always in "research mode" because I believe that for every question you have, there's always an answer waiting for you to reach it.
When I work on a piece, I feel so happy and excited, like I'm embarking on a new adventure: A new world to explore, to dive in.
And once you're there, you can feel the character's emotions and their story sipping through your veins.
It's such an incredible feeling!In the free time I enjoy reading with the two fur babies Thor and Ruffi, connecting with others, playing video games/watching series with my husband and working from time to time on my book.
I have so many stories to tell you!

I'll guide you through every step of it until you're satisfied.*

Lineart

This is the lineart, fully cleaned.
Every line is unique and a protagonist in this phase.
I'll make sure to highlight all the important details in your piece and make them shine!

Rendering phase

The final phase is where all the elements of your piece come to life.
Every part of your art is crafted with time, precision, patience and... your collaboration!Your feedback is essential for me.
Every day or when I can, I'll keep you posted on further updates on your work.
I'll send you updates on your email and a DM on instagram with all the details!I have full respect of each detail/texture in your work , in order to achieve the maximum realism possible. (where is possible)

General info

My commercial license starts at 35%* for any kind of marketing. i.e stickers, prints, book illustration such as overlays etc.
Instead if you're interested in a book cover , my commercial license starts at 65%.*For returning customers my commercial license will go from 35% to 30%.Any additional character is 30% off.

Terms of service

I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund. (in case you reserved the spot or if I can't work on it anymore)I reserve the right to cancel a commission if you are offensive or abusive, in which case I will refund your payment, minus the value of work already completed.Please notify me of any deadlines regarding the commissioned work. If I’m unsure whether I’d be able to complete the commission in the given time period, I will decline the request.I will be in consistent contact with you, I will update you daily on the process. (via email or DM)
I will show you every step of the art process and I will accept revisions at every stage. The sooner, the better.
However, I won't change back anything that was already approved.
Major changes can only be made during the sketching phase.
Any major changes at a later stage in the process will be charged additionally.Once the commission is completed, you will receive the full resolution image in JPEG/PNG format.I can make up to three minor changes at any point in the process, free of charge.

Payment

Payment will be done after the first sketch, lineart and rendering phase. For a big budget, we can discuss payment methods.
I am only using Paypal.Prices may vary depending on complexity, additional characters, elements etc.If you're new and you want to work with me, I would need a small fee from you (just symbolic) to reserve your spot in my calendar.

References

Customers’ satisfaction is a priority for me, and I will do my absolute best to create an artwork to your liking. The more reference pictures you send me, the more accurately I’ll be able to portray what you imagined.
Please include as many details as possible - things such as the pose, clothing, color palette, background elements (if there is any), lighting, hairstyle, clothing etc.
To keep things organized, I will request that you send me all the reference photos you’ve collected via e-mail or Instagram.

Deadline

I can give you a deadline when talking about the project. For anything small, it can be done in less than a week. (chapter headers, frames)
For more complex pieces 15-20 days.
Bigger projects will take more time, obviously!I will do my best to deliver the finished product as soon as possible; in case of any potential changes in the schedule which may delay the delivery of your commission, I will notify you ahead.If you have a short deadline I might charge more to make the delivery in time(+30%).
i.e we're starting to work in May and you have the release of the book in mid May

I am allowed to use the artwork to promote myself on social media and post it wherever I want.
If you for whatever reason don’t want me to post the artwork on social media, please let me know ahead.
If you request complete secrecy I will respect your choice and post my work only when you say so.
